The day we brought home our eight-week-old puppy, Dewey, he became an integral part of our family, filling our home with so much joy. He was truly a gift, and he completed us, blessing us with sixteen wonderful years of companionship, kisses, and unconditional love.
As a professional singer/songwriter, I have composed many songs about meaningful moments in my life. After Dewey’s passing, I wrote one to honor his memory and to accompany a compilation of snapshots of his life. After recording the song titled “The Far Side of The Ridge,” in a state-of-the-art recording studio, the melody and lyrics became the backbone of a heartfelt video capturing some of Dewey’s special moments we’d caught on camera over the years. The finished video is a beautiful tribute to our precious angel, one that will last forever.
